Apiary Capital strengthens team
Apiary Capital is pleased to announce four new hires including the appointment of Dan Adler as Partner.
The new hires follow the successful close of Apiary’s £200m debut fund in July 2018 and bring the total size of the Apiary Capital team to 10 professionals.
Dan has over 20 years private equity experience, mostly as a partner at Lyceum Capital where he spent 15 years, following six years at 3i. Dan brings a broad range of lower-mid-market private equity experience to the firm, having built up a strong investment track record, particularly in the TMT and Business Service sectors, where he has been involved with several successful buy-and-build platform investments, including M&C Energy, Pinewood-Shepperton Group and AgriBriefing.
Apiary Capital is also pleased to announce the appointments of Thomas Alldred and Chris Heawood as Investment Managers.
Thomas joins from Exponent Private Equity, having previously spent two years at Lyceum Capital working alongside Dan, whilst Chris joins from Deloitte, where he had worked for eight years, most recently as an Assistant Director in Transaction Services.
Finally, Apiary Capital is delighted to announce the appointment of Peter Jacobs as Senior Advisor, to support the firm’s investment activities in a non-executive capacity. Peter has nearly 30 years private equity experience, latterly at Primary Capital, where he was a partner for 16 years.
