First Intuition is an award-winning professional education provider with expert tutors and exceptional pass rates. It offers a full range of accountancy training including AAT, CIMA, ACCA and ICAEW qualifications, and diplomas in partnership with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). In April 2023, Apiary invested in First Intuition, which delivers training to over 5,000 students online and in classrooms in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool. Five franchisees deliver training in other regions of the UK. First Intuition is led by CEO Martin Taylor, who joined the business in 2017.

Investment Strategy
Demand for accountancy training is robust given it provides an attractive career path. However, only a handful of training providers are capable at delivering both apprenticeships and commercial training at scale to the leading professional services firms and corporates. First Intuition has developed its regional network to become a national provider and its focus on building long-term relationships with its customers, and delivering excellent training and outcomes for students, has seen it increase its market share. Apiary’s investment will assist the business to grow its provision and make selected strategic acquisitions.
