Apiary Capital invests in Spanish Point Technologies

Apiary Capital has completed a significant investment in Spanish Point Technologies Limited (‘Spanish Point’), a leading Microsoft and Databricks cloud specialist based in Dublin.
Spanish Point is a fast-growing Microsoft services partner that works with global customers to modernise and scale complex cloud-based platforms. The business has a highly differentiated proposition through its deep engineering capability, technical talent, and focus on data and AI solutions. This has enabled the business to become a leading Microsoft partner across Ireland and the UK, recognised by its Azure Expert MSP status and comprehensive suite of accreditations.
Apiary Capital’s investment will facilitate the continued development of Spanish Point’s portfolio of enterprise products and solutions, which includes Matching Engine, a cloud native and highly configurable software solution for international Collective Management Organisations (‘CMOs’). The collection and distribution of music royalties is becoming more complex, driven by rising data volumes and an increasingly fragmented digital ecosystem, and there is a clear market need for a technology solution to support CMOs as they move from mainframe computing environments to cloud-based AI solutions.
In addition, Apiary Capital will support the Spanish Point management team to invest further in people and technology as the business scales, as well as explore potential acquisitions in both Ireland and the UK to accelerate international expansion.
