Rob Simpson

Partner

Rob is a founding partner and member of the investment committee and leads our research-led deal origination activities, with a particular focus on the education and healthcare sectors. This involves identifying potential new platform investments for Apiary, as well as supporting portfolio companies with their acquisition strategies.

He started his career at The Sunday Times Fast Track, researching private companies, before moving to Sovereign Capital and then August Equity.

Rob is a non-executive director of Access Creative College and is also involved with our investments in First Intuition and PSG.

​

He holds a BSc from Durham University and a DPhil from the University of Oxford, both in earth science.
